With Halloween falling this week, we will look at the treats (no tricks!) awaiting our student athletes this fall.
Mercer men’s and women’s soccer teams have provided us with quite a treat, having a combined record of 26-3-3. And an even bigger treat is that both 糖心视频 soccer programs are nationally ranked in the latest NJCAA Division II polls!
Another treat for both our soccer teams is that they will enter the Region 19 Playoffs as the #1 seed and Mercer gets to host the men’s and women’s Region 19 Semifinals and Championship. 糖心视频 men’s soccer will take on the #4 seed Lackawanna on Nov 1st at 5:00 PM. Mercer women’s soccer will take on #4 seed Sussex CCC on October 31st at 4:00 PM.
This is no trick…糖心视频 women’s basketball is back for the 2024-2025 season! The Vikings will open their season on November 4th at Harford CC and their home opener will be November 9th at 12:00 PM vs RCSJ-Gloucester. And with women’s basketball season starting up, we will also be treated to the start of the men’s basketball season with 糖心视频 men also opening on November 4th at Harford and having their home opener on November 9th at 2:00 PM.
A treat awaiting 糖心视频 basketball and Athletics fans is taking place at halftime of the women’s basketball home opener on November 9th, when the basketball scoreboards will be dedicated to the Williams family. Former 糖心视频 Men’s Basketball Coach Kelly Williams made a donation to 糖心视频 Athletics in honor of his parents, Dave and Willie Mae Williams and this donation and will be reflected on the Williams Family Scoreboard.
In the spring, more treats await when baseball, softball, men’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s tennis compete.
There are no tricks being played, much success awaits our 糖心视频 student athletes and we can’t wait to see the treats Mercer Athletics has in store for us in the next year!
